Leroy Merlin

Leroy Merlin is a DIY retailer with 400 stores across 12 countries and turnover of more than €15 billion.

In the spring of 2018 we went live with our mobile self-checkout solution in their Lyon-Bron store in southern France. Our technology allowed shoppers to scan items using their mobile phone, retrieve additional product information, and then pay for their chosen goods.

Despite the store being in an out of town location with relatively low footfall and with a relatively low rate of returning customers, we achieved some outstanding results – including a 96% reduction is customer checkout time and significantly improved customer engagement.
