What is MishiPay?
MishiPay is a solution that allows in-store shoppers to pick up a product, scan it with their phone, receive enriched product information, pay directly in the app and simply walk out once payment is complete.
Do retailers need any additional hardware to use MishiPay?
Thanks to our carefully curated collection of partners we are able to integrate our mobile self-checkout solution with retailers’ existing POS and back office systems with no requirement for any investment in additional hardware. This means integration is smooth and cost-effective and we can go live in as little as 4 weeks.
Does MishiPay work for all retail sectors?
MishiPay benefits retailers in all sectors. We are working with businesses across fashion, consumer electronics, DIY, sports, convenience, speciality retailers and more. The many benefits that our solution offers means that we can positively impact all retailers, no matter what they sell.
Is MishiPay offered as a whitelabel solution?
We offer our mobile self-checkout via the MishiPay main app (available for both iOS and Android devices) or as a whitelabelled solution to allow retailers to leverage their own brands. Examples of the apps we have built are available in our case study section.
What payment methods can I use when I purchase using MishiPay?
We work with retailers to develop a bespoke list of payment methods for each project, depending on their location and the requirements of the retailer, and we then integrate these into our solution. Typically this includes a range of debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Does using MishiPay lead to increased theft?
We have designed a number of unique features to ensure that we guard against the risk of theft and as a result we have seen no increase in shrink following the implementation of MishiPay in retail stores.
What if I encounter a technical problem when using MishiPay?
We have built our business on delivering the highest levels of service to our customers. Our rigorous testing programme ensures that we will only go live in-store when any technical problems have been fully resolved, and throughout the project our talented team will be available to support you and resolve any issues. In the rare case of a shopper experiencing a technical issue, we also offer a dedicated technical support portal that can be used by the retailer to log the issue.
Is paying using MishiPay secure for shoppers?
We utilise PCI-compliant methods of payment that are encrypted and secured to the highest standards (as guided by regulations) and these are tested by our stringent internal security team and external security partners.
Is MishiPay available worldwide?
Yes. Our solution is available to retailers across the world and we are currently working with businesses located in the UK, Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden and the United States.
How can I download MishiPay?
The main MishiPay apps are available from the App Store for iOS devices and from the Play Store for Android devices. We also whitelabel our applications for some of our customers, and their apps can be found via our case study pages.
